We hope this message finds you well. We have some exciting news to share — and we'd love for you to be a part of it.
After much reflection, we have decided to host one final annual in-person fundraiser for the Jaime Whelan Foundation. We would be honored to have you join us.
Please SAVE THE DATE of Saturday, September 19th, 2026 from 2-6 p.m. as we gather with friends and family for the 19th Annual Jaime Whelan Foundation Fundraiser at Minnesota's, 959 West Beech Street, Long Beach, NY.
While this will be our last formal fundraiser, the Jaime Whelan Foundation is not going anywhere. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of this community over nearly two decades, we have raised more than we have distributed — and we intend to keep honoring Jaime's memory by continuing to award scholarships and provide financial support to deserving members of the Long Beach community for years to come.
But first — one more celebration. And we want to make it the biggest and best one yet.
We are setting our sights on a new all-time fundraising record, and we know that with your support, we can get there. Please come out, bring your friends, spread the word, and help us send this chapter off in a way that would make Jaime incredibly proud. We would also greatly appreciate the donation of any items that we could use for our raffle packages, live auction, silent auction, and door prizes.
The Jaime Whelan Foundation was built on community, love, and the desire to keep an amazing person's spirit alive. That spirit lives in every scholarship awarded, every family helped, and every one of you who has shown up for us year after year. We are endlessly grateful.

More than half of the money raised to date has come as a result of the raffle items, proving that these contributions are especially effective in raising money.
